Pal Pads are pressure-activated membrane switches requiring the slightest touch (56.699g of force), whether it comes from directly above or at a shallow angle. Equipped with a standard 3.5mm plug, these switches can be used with any communication aid or battery-operated assistive device that has a standard 3.5mm jack.
The rigid and durable Pal Pads are approximately 0.254CM thick.
Glow-in-the-dark Pal Pads are available. Charge them under a bright light for ten minutes. Glow lasts for over an hour. Keep in mind that Glow-in-the-dark Pal Pads function as any other color of Pal Pad, and can be used not just in the dark, but anywhere other Pal Pads are used.
