Fabric Literacy Strips

Helps promote interaction and eye-contact during reading lessons

The Literacy Strip is designed to augment reading and language development for a beginning reader. The "loop" fabric display panel attaches to book with elastic strap. 2-sided so you can store extra pictures on back.

Features and Benefits

• Always visible above the book or below the book
• Allows you to display key vocabulary (in symbols or text) while reading the book
• Strips come in two sizes:
  • Single Strip for top OR bottom use – 24cm (9.5”) in width x 10cm – fit any book cover that measures from 20.3 cm (8”) to 30.5 cm (12”) in height
  • Extra Large Single Strip for top OR bottom use – 38cm (15”) in width x 10cm – fit teacher “big” books with covers that measure from 35.5 cm (14”) to 61 cm (24”) in height
• Black "Hook"-receptive fabric on both sides of the strip

How-to mount the Literacy Strip to a book:

• Simply clip the elastic straps of the strip over the front or back cover of any book

The Literacy Strip is re-usable with multiple books, and is an easy way to temporarily adapt a book without harming it!

For paperback books use stiff cardboard or plastic to stabilise cover.
