A unique headphone alternative for hearing products.

Echo Bone Conduction Headphones are a different type of headphones where the sound waves are transmitted using vibration through skull bone to your inner ear to move hair cells inside of the cochlea . In this case you can bypass the outer and middle ear so your ear canal can be free which is especially important for people with hearing difficulties.

Most bone conduction headphones are designed for sport purposes like biking, running or even swimming and they use wireless technology. However, now there is a wired bone conduction headphone option available which can be used with Assistive Listening Devices.

The Echo Bone Conduction Headphones have been designed especially for use in conjunction with the Echo range of assistive listening products such as the Radiolink2.4G, EcholinkPro or MiniTechs.

So if, for some reason, you cannot use or perhaps you are not comfortable using standard under chin headphones, these latest bone conduction headphones should be your first choice.

When to use bone conduction headphones?

  • if you have conductive hearing
  • If you do not  feel comfortable of having something over or inside your ears
  • If you need to hear environmental sound at he same time
  • If you wish to use headphones together with hearing aids especial ITE (In-the-ear)
  • If you wish to use more discreet headphones

Please note: this product is designed to be used in conjunction with the Echo range but it also may work well with other electronic devices. Before first use ensure that your own devices are fully compatible with bone conduction headphones and the volume is set to comfortable level. Using this headphones on high volume can adversely affect your hearing. Keep any electronic devices at least six inches away from your ICD or pacemaker.
