What is Cosmo?

Cosmo combines high tech, Universal Design for Learning and purposeful play to transform how learners engage with education and therapy. It's built to solve everyday challenges by helping deliver activities that are engaging, inclusive, and measurable.

Cosmo brings together two powerful elements, Cosmo Dots and the Cosmo Learning App.

A Cosmo Dot is a Bluetooth enabled switch, which works with a wide range of compatible devices and apps, making it a versatile tool for communication, choice making and access. 

Each Dot provides a visual, auditory, and tactile experience, turning interaction into feedback and feedback into learning. Made from aerospace-grade materials and engineered for durability, they can be used standalone with AAC and third-party apps or with the Cosmo Learning App.

Compatibility & Switch Access

Each Cosmo Dot is compatible with all Bluetooth 4/LE devices (or newer) and provides access to all switch accessible apps or software on iOS, OS X, Chromebooks, Windows and Android devices. This allows you to use the switch to control your AAC apps, navigate your computer or tablet, access games, educational materials and more.

Use the Cosmo Dot app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) to get started with Switch Access.

Navigation: You can use your Cosmo Dot to navigate your computer, tablet or phone device.

Play Games: Assign arrow keys ( ← ↑ ↓ → ), enter ⏎ and space to access games.

Media Control: Use to control your media volume, play/pause movies on Netflix or tracks on Spotify. Plus, we are working to enable the Cosmo switch to control many more media players across devices.

AAC: You can also use it with the most popular Augmented and Alternative Communication apps and devices including Clicker, HelpKidzLearn and many more.
